Текст песни: From a tiny sleeping seed
In the dark and quiet earth
Came a root so thin and frail
Pushed through stone and gave it birth
Reaching blindly for the glow
A fragile stem began to grow
A tiny life so small so slow
Began to know the light above
Cracked the shell the world was wide
Two small leaves opened inside
Then two more a tender green
The first true sign of what would be
And the stem grew thick and strong
And the days turned into song
More and more it wouldn't stop
Reaching for the mountaintop
And now I stand beneath the green
No sun no moon no sky I've seen
Just roots and branches leaves that wave
A living breathing emerald cave
From almost nothing it arose
Through dirt and stone through wind that blows
A glorious tree that touched the sun
And the endless race was won
Roots dove deeper held the ground
Branches spread without a sound
Higher higher blocked the blue
The sky disappeared from view
I am lost in endless shade
By this giant that I made
From a speck a tiny spark
Now it towers in the dark
And now I stand beneath the green
No sun no moon no sky I've seen
Just roots and branches leaves that wave
A living breathing emerald cave
From almost nothing it arose
Through dirt and stone through wind that blows
A glorious tree that touched the sun
And the endless race was won
No clouds above no stars at night
Just emerald shadows emerald light
I cannot see the sky at all
But I can hear the green world call
And I am small and I am grand
To have grown this with my own hand
From one small seed a universe
A blessing and a quiet curse
And now I stand beneath the green
No sun no moon no sky I've seen
Just roots and branches leaves that wave
A living breathing emerald cave
From almost nothing it arose
Through dirt and stone through wind that blows
A glorious tree that touched the sun
And the endless race was won
Touched the sun
From nothing came to one
Touched the sun
In the dark and quiet earth
Came a root so thin and frail
Pushed through stone and gave it birth
Reaching blindly for the glow
A fragile stem began to grow
A tiny life so small so slow
Began to know the light above
